The garden is blooming, the sun is shining and the temperature is rising, even reaching an ama`zing 27 deg.C here in Glasgow. Now I know some of you will be smiling as you think of much hotter temperatures where you are, but for Glasgow 27 deg. is very hot! BUT … this is Scotland, with a maritime climate so you can expect a wide variety of weather, and yes, some wet and misty days in between. 🙂 On the day we decided to drive to Dunoon on the Clyde Coast, we left home and headed. for Loch Lomond where we soon experienced some light rain and mist. But it was cool and we had a great day out, with many stops along the way. Here are some pics, what do you think?

Then of course there is garden and greenhouse, and this year with some help on the ‘heavy stuff’ from my son and grandson, it has been slowly knocked into shape. Tomatoes are just coming now, but already there has been a good crop of cucumbers. Peppers are a bit slow but I believe they’ll come good.
Some say that gardening is in many ways like a journey, starting early in the year with the sowing of seed, temperature control, followed by transplanting in pots and beds, feeding, weeding, watering and insect control, not to mention pruning and cutting …… cleaning and disenfecting the greenhouse etc. If you are like me some regular watering by prayer is always considered an essential!
Results of course can be hugely satisfying. The weather is a bit hot again this month, so we have been sitting in the garden under a parasol, reading and listening to some music, and in the evening the blackbird singing. How blessed we are.
